April Favorites

IMG_1701April is usually up there for one of my favorite months of the year, but I’m a little bias because my birthday is in April. This month I got to experience some true spring weather, unfortunately only for it to turn back to winter the past few weeks. Anyways, here are a few things I loved in the month of April!

IMG_1702Soap and Glory Beauty Sleep Accelerator is a new addition to the skincare family and it’s a quick favorite! It smells a little like peaches and is a perfect night cream, leaving my face moisturized and plump by the morning. It has loads of great natural ingredients so I’m definitely a fan!

Clarisonic Mia is a game changer. I got it for my birthday (thanks a mil Grandma!!) I use it just about every night and my skin feels incredibly soft, as the brush vibrates to remove dirt and grime leaving my skin soft. Like, so incredibly crazy soft. It’s pure magic.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Sorbet has been my spring installment of a body moisturizer. I loved the Burt’s Bees Milk and Honey one, but once it ran out I decided to freshen things up a bit. The scent of this is so refreshing and a little minty, and the texture is lighter than your average body lotion. This is so great in the transition from spring to summer!

IMG_1703Garnier BB Eye Roll On I like that this product is a combination of skincare and makeup, the BB aspect helps smooth skin and cover dark circles. It’s a light consistency so it’s not too cakey, but gives enough coverage. I think it works especially well in combination with my Lush eye cream.

Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil is my new alternative to the Clinique pencil that I wasn’t the biggest fan of. Archery is a dupe for the famous Anastasia brow pencil, so the nib is really small so you can add hair-like strokes. And the attached spoolie brush at the end is perfection.

Essie Eternal Optimist is described as a spicy rose color, which I definitely agree with. Pink isn’t necessarily my favorite color (which would be appealing to my 5 year old self), but this color is sort of a burnt pinky nude and I’ve been wearing it for the better half of the month.

Alex and Ani Bracelets Another birthday gift, I’ve been loving these and wearing them as often as possible. The brassy gold color is so lovely and I love simple jewelry, so these have been my go to accessory this month.

I loved April but am looking forward to the rest of May; there will be a few big changes for me coming up, but I’m excited for the month ahead. Thanks for reading!
