Lip Talk

Processed with VSCOcam with m3 presetMy dry lip problem seems to be never ceasing, until now. I thought that Carmex was the cure all, but after a few months, it’s effects seemed to not be as well..effective. I’ve finally found a little routine to keep my lips hydrated.

Step 1: Lush’s Mint Julips lip scrub. Made from sugar and jojoba oil with a dash of mint, this scrub is a simple exfoliator that tastes amazing too.  I’ve made my own lip scrubs in the past, but this one seems to work better than any homemade ones. I usually use this morning or night every few days or so, depending on how my lips feel.

Step 2: Nuxe’s Reve de Miel. This is a serious game changer. I’ve seen it raved about on several beauty blogs, and once I spotted it in M&S last week, I had to buy it. It has a thicker consistency and smells (and tastes) like honey. When I put it on in the morning, it’ll stay on for several hours without need of a top up and when I put it on at night, my lips will be moisturized and plumped in the morning. This is probably the first holy grail product I’ve ever bought, something I will use for ages.
