Italy // Day Four

The last of the Italy posts! On our last day, we woke up early to catch a bus to Sorrento! Sorrento is a tiny little town on the Amalfi Coast, known for their lemon products, among other things.  We spent the day meandering around the small streets and looking through the shops.  We also enjoyed a very long lunch in the middle of the town, prime location for people watching. In the late afternoon, we hit up a park for a little nap and read our books.  Then we took the bus back and arrived back in Naples just after dusk, and enjoyed our last evening with our gracious hosts.  The next day (Tuesday) we were up bright and early for our flight back to London.  The trip was such nice break from the city life, and the food…ah the food!!! My love affair with olives was reignited and has not since stopped. Italy was a dream, a well spent reading week holiday! Me and mom were both excited to be back in London though, as Grandma arrived the next day, and we all enjoyed a week together, but more on that later.
